Become.com is seeking an energetic SEO Manager with expertise in technical and global search engine optimization for large websites to lead our global SEO efforts. In addition to the US, Become.com currently operates websites in UK (become.co.uk) and Japan (become.co.jp), with additional international expansion underway. You will have the opportunity to join a very successful, results-oriented team, continuously testing and proving out successful SEO strategies. We are looking for a hands-on SEO professional who has a comprehensive as well as deep understanding of SEO issues involving site architecture; keyword generation; XML sitemap submissions; search friendly content; link building strategies; blog optimization; and metrics-driven SEO. If you have successfully executed SEO strategies for large global sites and are looking to build your expertise working with a team of high calibre engineers and skilled product specialists, we want to hear from you. Job Requirements & Responsibilities: Work with the Sr. Manager of SEO to test, plan and successfully execute on ROI positive SEO initiatives, including but not limited to keyword generation, content creation, URL selection for XML sitemap submissions, internal linking, and external linking. Work closely with global engineering and product teams to ensure consistency in SEO strategy and implementation across multiple global properties. Measure and report on the effectiveness of SEO strategies in generating increased web traffic and organic revenue for global properties. Develop, share and implement SEO best practices across multiple properties. Work with external agencies and in-house teams to build quality external links to global properties. Stay up to date with industry trends.
