Major Job Functions:
1. Drive and develop the digital engine – including: SEM, SEO, email, web, blog, digital PR, retention and social media.
2. Establish and clearly communicate success metrics across al digital engines – cost per touch, lead, revue and ROI.
3. Ensure monthly analytics and strategic adjustments across all digital sources.
4. Lead and participate in development of meaningful and attainable marketing metrics ensuring increases in engagement and efficiency while conserving budget and resource.
5. Drive a comprehensive prospect database that is hygienic, up to date and grows quarter over quarter.
6. Manage the DemandStar agency relationships and growth through thoughtful acquisition and account management.
7. Develop strategic lead gen plan by collaborating with senior management team and sales team to effectively execute on board revenue/sales plan and long term strategic plan for Onvia.
8. Recruit, hire, train and provide on-going coaching for the online marketing team. Ensure team members are actively uplevelling in their subject matter expertise.
9. Provide training opportunities both internal and external to Onvia.
10. Manage the marketing budget to quarterly and yearly goals.
11. Manage lead pipeline to meet business/sales goals by balancing quantity, quality, prioritization while driving new sources as required.
12. Ensure a lead prioritization model is in place and actively updated/improved monthly.
13. Collaborate closely with sales, product management, finance, and technology to ensure a top-notch digital platform, engine and delivery of digital and database assets.
14. Ensure all new product developments and sales initiatives are completely supported through the digital team including change management and ongoing changes to the digital environment.
15. Actively automate the online campaign calendar for efficiency gains and customer response.
16. Develop and collaborate on assignment/management of year-over-year lead quotas.
17. Provide credible, accurate forecasting to senior team.
18. Coordinate Marcomm activities in outbound campaigns and online properties.
19. Establish incentives proportionate with attaining plan and upside plan goals.
Job Scope:
1. Participate with senior team to establish cross-organizational strategic plans and objectives.
2. Enable cooperative, respected relationships across functional teams in support of Onvia’s overall goals.
3. Ensure financial goals (revenue and budget) are met.
4. Provide guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.
5. Responsible for evaluating and managing employee performance and development, as well as hiring and termination decisions. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.
6. Develop and administers budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
Job Requirements
1. 10-15 years of marketing experience in the B to B/ B to G space.
2. Experience in all aspects of digital marketing with the ability to provide both strategic and hands on direction.
3. Customer centric.
4. Demonstrated track record of delivering quarter over quarter success metrics gains through acquisition and retention efforts
5. Advanced management and leadership skills.
6. Advanced oral, written and presentation skills
7. Advanced organizational skills.
8. Strong project management skills.
9. Strong PC skills.
10. BA/BS required.
11. MBA preferred.
